I have no words to describe this hidden jewel of Salento. Everything on the menu tastes so good that you want to put up a tent and live there. Iolanda, the actual Italian grandma, works in the kitchen and oversees everything. I never thought that something as simple as a tomato, potato and onion salad can contain so much flavor

It’s such a great feeling to unexpectedly find a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and that friendly atmosphere carried through the entire meal. The food was homemade with love, and you could really taste the care that went into every dish. Since it was my first time here, I asked the waitress for recommendations, and she guided me to some excellent choices. Everything was simply perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and heartfelt meal!

A beautiful local restaurant with a fabulous interior and lovely outdoor seating. Glass openings in the floor to the wine cellar below were very interesting. A wonderful setting. Staff were extremely helpful and kind, the younger waitress spoke impeccable English which helped our limited italian. She was kind, friendly and so lovely in her interactions, a real star. The menu was fairly simply but the dishes were delivered perfectly. Seasoning, flavours and care over presentation. A real highlight of our 3 weeks in Puglia. Please look out for this fabulous place. Fair prices, the wine at 8 euros a litre was a bargain as it was very drinkable. Superb, thank you

I have been coming here since I met my husband in 2016 as he is native to here. It is so nice to see the menu hasn't changed, I do miss sitting in the historic grounds next door but that changed a couple of years ago. The highlight this year was seeing a board up with Iolanda making Orecchiette. I saw her in the kitchen and said hello/shared my appreciation for the first time ever tonight-she is so full of energy and joy. I hope your magic is served forever!
